Beechwood has been enjoying all of our families that have joined us for the 2024 - 2025 school year. We are looking forward to our upcoming summer camp!
Beechwood School has been serving families in southern New Jersey since 1951. Children ages 2½ - 6 years old and potty trained are accepted. Half day and full day classes are available.
We at Beechwood, believe that children develop at their own pace, naturally and sequentially if given the time and the stimulation. The needs of the children at each developmental level are important. These needs are met through providing age appropriate activities and environments that envelop the social, emotional, creative, intellectual, and physical aspects of learning. Children, when ready, will be able to internalize information and concepts which lead to mastery of a skill.

Ms. Colleen Egan
For anyone that knew our beloved “Ms. Colleen,” we are extremely sad to share that she passed away on Sunday, 3/9/2025.
Colleen was an integral part of Beechwood School since 1986. She brought so many wonderful features to the classroom and truly loved working with the children over the years. Her loving kindness will be a beautiful memory.
Interest in Beechwood School is very much appreciated. At this time, the fall 2025 classes have limited availability. Families are welcome to submit a registration form without fees. Half day placement may become available first. You will only be contacted if and when an appropriate opening becomes available. At that time a tour may be arranged for the parent and child. Tours are scheduled 9:30am or 10:00am weekday mornings.
Please note, students must be registered for 5 days per week. A schedule with a mixture of full and half days is acceptable.
